Here are some pictures from the last week or so. Brooklyn is learning all kinds of new tricks. On Saturday, Mindy came to visit us. I haven't seen her very much since Craig and I moved here, and she had only seen Boo once. Boo took to her right away and even cried when Mindy went downstairs to get her stuff to leave!
Some of Boo's new tricks:
When asked what a cow says, she says "vooooooooooooo"
When asked what a horsey says, she says "eeeeeeeeeeeeeee"
When asked what a puppy says or where the puppies are, she says 'uf, uf'.

She blows kisses and waves.
She goes into fits of giggles over little things, like getting her toy to play music.
She loves to sing along.'
When asked where the fish is, she points to Craig's pike that is mounted above the fireplace.
She says Mama, Daie, Hi Daie, Abbe, Aula (Paula), Hi, Bye, Uh-Oh, No, oooooo (I love you), Up (sometimes) and probably other ones I'm forgetting. She jabbers all the time.

Abbe and Paula are two of the daycare ladies. In fact, Abbe about got a call the other night. Brooklyn was crying, she didn't want to go back to sleep in the middle of the night, and she was screaming, "ABBE, ABBE, ABBE!" for about an hour.
Brooklyn also grabs a book and crawls into your lap to have it read.

She can crawl up and down stairs.
When you sing her 'Old McDonald Had a Farm', she waits until you get to the EIEIO part and sings 'yoyoyoyo'.
She loves to play under our table (it's one of the really tall ones, so she thinks it's her own personal house) and likes to get under the chairs, but then she can't get back out and she cries. These two pictures are ones I took of her peeking out from underneith a chair.

Why you don't let your 11 mo. old self-feed beef ravioli. You should click to make it bigger and look at her hair.
She found the piano, so now she likes to stand and play it...Sunday she actually played a little triddle-de-dee thing that was pretty...we were very impressed :)

Okay, I know you kids must have fed yourselves and ended up a mess like that, but that's just gross! It's a good thing she doesn't have much hair yet! :) Glad you had to do the cleaning up. It looks like Mindy and B had fun.
Jocelyn,
That picture of Brooklyn feeding herself is great! Fischer still thinks silverware is way too slow. He usually ends up tossing it and using his hands. Thanks for the update on Brooklyn and fun to see pictures of Mindy too. :)
What a great post! Some very adorable pictures - even the one with ravioli all over her! :)
