So, those of you who read Carin's blog will know that we went a few weeks ago to feed the ducks at the park. It was lots of fun. One of the side activities was playing at the park. Of course, us Moms couldn't resist a little playing too. Amazing how hard it is to do the monkey bars now. In fact, the picture of me falling down off the bars was so bad, I didn't include it here!
Here's Carin:

And my mom (she can do it, but I can't...how embarrassing! She's not carrying 40 extra pounds though, that could be the difference.)

Brooklyn found a new friend. He needs a little sister...he was so sweet with her, wanting her to go down the slide with him and such.

The whole gang (minus me of course) on a walk around the lake. Nora and Coen are hidden in their buggy...check out Brooklyn's sunglasses!

In other news, I got a new camera, so I've been snapping weird shots, just to figure it out. Here's Hatters.

We went prairie dog hunting the other day, so that gave me a good chance to mess around. We saw a badger (this was a really long ways away):

and then my usual subjects...I love this picture, because when you blow it up (click on it) you can see just how long her eyelashes are...WOW!

She was standing in the doorway at daycare the other day, watching the kids play outside, and one of the kids accidentally bumped her and knocked her over...face first on the concrete. That was Monday, and she still has scratches all over her face, and bruises on her forehead.
on the way to work the other morning, she said "This is the cowboy song, I want it louder in my ears." So I turned it up just a little. She says "Not THAT loud, my Hadley is trying to sleep!" (which she wasn't, and it wasn't that loud).
Then, the other day she had a couple of toys that she was playing with, and I was going from room to room in the house doing stuff. Every time I moved, she picked up her toys and moved. Pretty soon she says "MOMMY! HOLD STILL!" Hummm, wonder where she heard that.
She also has been around Papa Tim too much lately I guess. She does something and then says "Bad Gummit!" There are lots of others that I can't think of right now.
She is pretty much potty trained during the day now...she still wears a diaper to bed at night, and during her nap, but she wears underwear to daycare and with Grammy at the store, and hasn't had an accident for quite a long time. Yay!

Lots of cool pictures! How fun. It took me two times to be able to get across the bars. I was laughing too hard the first time and had to jump! About time you posted a new post bad gummit! :) Gramma
That was fun to read.
The park was a fun time. Seeing my mom makes me miss her. :(
Good thing the badger was far away!! you must have a pretty nice camera. I would be a mile away from that creature if I could help it.
Finally, Hadley's eyelashes are ridiculous!!
*sigh* how lucky you are to have your girl potty trained! Lindsy is in no way interested! Arrgh...
Very cute! Tell your mom "You go girl" In a skirt and on the Monkey bars! That's awesome! Your girls are precious! I wanna see more house pictures!!! ;) Take Care
Looks like you had a really fun day! Hope to see your house sometime when we aren't so preoccupied! Thanks for the invite the other day.
